Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of the effectiveness of severe pneumonia treatment in children on the basis of the undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. 338 children aged 6-15 years with the severe community acquired pneumonia were examined. In 192 patients the signs of the undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia were defined. The controlled treatment at the prospective stage was administered to 154 children. It was proved that the degree of severity of the pneumonia clinical course in children was reasonable for the degree of the distinct signs of the connective tissue dysplasia. As a result of the complex changes in the external breathing system in children with pneumonia the significant disturbances of the prooxidant and antioxidant system and the catabolism process activation occur. The endogenic intoxication and inflammation increase, and it is more significant in the connective dysplasia signs. The main agents of the community acquired pneumonia complicated by the pyogenic endobronchitis are St. pneumonia and St. aureus, the resistance of which is mostly revealed to cephalosporins of the third and the fourth generation and to amikacin. It was proved that the adding of the preparations with the metabolic affect L-arginin hydrochloride and Ubichinone-D10 to the common treatment of pneumonia causes the disturbances' correction in the external breathing, much decrease of the proinflammatory cytokines, the processes of peroxide oxide of lipids and the development of the metabolic intoxication. Such adding also causes the enzyme's action of the antioxidant system and the anti-inflammatory protection and in the combination allows to reach positive clinical effect and it also increases the effectiveness of pneumonia treatment in children, particularly with the signs of the undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia.
