The thesis is devoted to the forming of junior school children's interest in music. This thesis develops and theoretically substantiates the content and component structure, criteria, indicators and levels of junior school children's interest in music, refines the notion "forming of interest in music". It also contains a model and methods of its phased implementation; guidelines for music teachers on the problem of the forming of pupil's interest in music with the use of multimedia technologies. The analysis of the formative experiment results showed the effectiveness of the developed technique of forming of the interest in music among junior school children, using multimedia technology.
