Verbovoy R. Compositional Graphical Model of Ukrainian Youth Magazine.

The dissertation deals with the study of composition and graphic design of the Ukrainian youth magazine as a phenomenon in the national publishing. A formal and narrative compositional graphical model of the Ukrainian youth magazine are suggested. The elements of composition and graphic content of Ukrainian youth magazine are explored in the thesis; a method of log space by developing a system of placing design elements is formed. Considerable attention is given to the peculiarities and regularities of positioning strategy youth magazine by issue, which is implements through the visual representation of the conceptual nature of the publication. Established principles of practical use compositional graphical models of the Ukrainian youth magazine are specified. Functional priorities of the design periodicals are outlined as well as the questions of necessary and sufficient similarity measure and the original model are examined. It is noted that the composition of the magazine is organized by taking into account a factor of the publication is intended for selective reading. Therefore, the content posted on the pages in the way to implement a full understanding of the content of individual information blocks. Each of them has to be seen by the reader, though not in isolation, but themselves. The whole system of compositional image of the magazine publications is aimed to ensuring the effectiveness of the communication process, to facilitate the process of informational perception and the creation of aesthetic, harmonious information product. In this regard it should meet as information needs of modern society but traditions and stereotypes of the era either. Visual image of the magazine, though is integral formation but consists of a number of the different forms, structures and functional elements.
