Object - process of obtaining information on material's quantitative and qualitative parameters using homodyne frequency conversion method with the discrete changed phase of a reference signal. Purpose - development of mathematical models and methods for building devices measuring mass loss, material layer thickness loss, and objects velocity based on homodyne frequency conversion method with the discrete changed phase of a reference signal. Methods - Методы - radio engineering measurement theory, functional simulation, probability theory, numerical methods of analysis. Results - mathematical model of a homodyne converter with the discrete changed phase of a reference signal was developed; analysis of metrology possibilities of homodyne measuring converter was done; a pilot unit for measurement of the converter parameters was built; metrological certification of the pilot unit was performed, and a series of experimental studies of the developed converter was carried out. Implementation - at Agregat Private Enterprise during development of equipment for water content control in multicomponent mixture; in educational subject at Sevastopol National Technical University. Application - non destructive control systems
