Chepurniak T. Genre of Poetry in Prose in the Ukrainian Literature of the XX cent. Evolution. Poetics

The dissertation focuses on the main poetic tendencies and stages of genre evolution of poetry in prose in the light of creative works by the Ukrainian writers of the XX cent. The genesis, syncretic nature and peculiarities of form and contents of the mentioned genre are discovered in the research. The carried out entire analysis of the poetry in prose by the Ukrainian writers enabled distinguishing such traditional features of the genre as linear organization, subjectivism, monologue exposition, dominance of lyricism, psychologism, fragmentarity and others, as well as original achievements in the imagery system connected with newly creation of the authors.
