Chernyavska I. The immune system in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 based on the presence of concomitant autoimmune thyroiditis.

Research object: the condition of the immune system by the patients with DM of the 2nd type and DM of the 2nd type in the combination with AIT. Objective: the study of the immune status characteristics by the patients with DM of the 2nd type in the combination with AIT and the improvement of the given algorithms of the therapy of this polyendocrynopathy. Methods: clinically instrumental, anthropometric, biochemical, immuno enzymatic, statistic ones. For the first time there was proved the therapeutic efficacy of the complex therapy including the immuno corrective medications by the patients with DM of the 2nd type in the combination with AIT which consists in the normalization of the indicators of the immune status, positive clinical dynamics and also in the improvement of the patients' health. There were stated the peculiarities of the correlation of the immune status with the parameters of the carbohydrate and lipid metabolism and cytokine imbalance by the patients with DM of the 2nd type in the combination with AIT. The sufficient input was proved by the activation of the immuno inflammatory cytokine chain (according to the indicators of the cytokine profile) to the development, expressed immunosuppression which is characterized by the reduction of the CD8+ (cytotoxics /suppressants) - the cells at which expense the IRI increases. It is determined that for the development of the immunosuppression, which is the ground for the rise of autoimmune diseases, the sufficient input is the increase of the proinflammatory cytokines levels and the hyperleptinemy on the conditions of the concomitant obesity. There were determined the peculiarities of the positive influence on the metabolic an immune indicators of the immuno corrective therapy by the complex treatment of the combined pathology of DM of the 2nd type in the combination with AIT.
