Object - failure of intestinal sutures; purpose - to improve the results of treatment of patients with postoperative peritonitis caused by failure of intestinal anastomoses and sutures through the development of new ways of intestinal sutures, methods of preventing insolvency seam lines, its early diagnosis and adequate treatment tactics, techniques - laboratory, histological, histochemical, instrumental, microbiological, clinical, statistics, results - for the first time, in a comparative perspective, the properties of intestinal sutures, which are often used in surgery, including developed, perfected the indications for their use, suggesting new ways of intestinal sutures, which allowed improve the reliability of surgical interventions on the hollow organs of the digestive system; lighten the role of non-specific resistance factors, processes of peroxide oxidation of fibrinolysis and proteolysis in the development of insolvency intestinal sutures and anastomoses; developed prognostic criteria of insolvency joints and intestinal anastomoses, as well as new methods of diagnosis and prevention, research justified a new treatment strategy for the development of postoperative peritonitis caused by failure of intestinal anastomoses and sutures, which has improved the results of treatment of such patients; branch – medicine.
