The main results of the theoretical and practical aspects of competition evolution in the innovative economy presented in the thesis.The methodological approach to the systematization of economic scientists' views on the peculiarities and competition genesis is propounded in the thesis. The interconnection between such economic categories as factors of competitiveness, competitive benefits, competitiveness and competition is substantiated. The peculiarities of monopoly are revealed, world and Ukrainian antimonopoly politics are characterized. Special features of innovations and innovative activity in the system of competitive relations are investigated. The development of competition and innovative processes progress in the Ukrainian economics are analyzed. Priority directions and the ways of competence efficiency increase in the innovative economics are formulated on the basis of using a model of competitiveness factors interconnection.
