The dissertation is dedicated to the comparatively-legal analyze of the regulation of relations, which are bound with breaking of contact agreements in Ukraine, the Russian Federation, the FRG, England and the USA. The concept of the contract and breaking contract, the concept and law character of breaking contract in the Civil Law of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, the FRG, England and the USA were defined in the work; the comparatively-legal analyze of main doctrinal and legislative principles of the contract law of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, the FRG, England and the USA about law consequences of the breaking contract was realized in the work; the theoretically motivated propositions for improving law regulation of the contract relations in Ukraine were formulated in the suitable part of the work. In the work determined that the law regulation of relations, which are bound with the breaking contract undertakings in all countries, law of which is considering and based on model «breach of contract», which was generated by the Contract Law of Consuetudinary. Special attention is devoted for such law consequences of the breaking contract like compensation for damages, payment of a penalty, unilateral refusal from a contract. "
