The thesis deals with the topical problem of the formation of health culture among students in higher educational institutions in PRC. The work determines the background of the idea about the formation of health culture in ancient China in the process of research based on the analysis of scientific literature, characterizes the contribution of outstanding Chinese scholars into the development of ideas of this culture formation among students in higher educational institutions, determines and generalizes pedagogically valuable experience of the formation of health culture among students in higher educational institutions in PRC, outlines the prospects of constructive use of Chinese teachers' theoretical and practical achievements on the touched-on problem in the Ukrainian higher school.
