The aim of the study is to determine the principles of architectural-planning reorganization of historic hotels 4-5 stars in the centers of large cities. The object of study - the historic building hotels 4-5 stars of low and medium capacity. The subject of the study - the architectural-planning reorganization hotels in major cities in the historical building (on the example of Odessa). Methodology of the study was conducted using the method of comparative analysis native and international experience in the design and content of the investigation building, ordering the corresponding research, analysis of regulatory documents, archives and statistician data, literature and information sources, a full-scale survey of historic buildings with Odessa, Lvov, Kiev, Yalta and other Ukrainian cities, research and field survey were conduct in European cities, real proektirovanie. The scientific novelty of the results: for the first time identified, systematically and comprehensively exami-neted the list of historic buildings hotels 4-5 stars in Ukraine; systematized the types of objects in the historic center of the city of Odessa and offered with regard to their potential, perspective aspects of uses and contents the heritage objects; systematic facts of influence on the development of hotels in east of the historically built on the example of Odessa; the technique and townbuilding analysis placement and reorganization of the 4-5 stars historic hotels in his-toricity existing building; the principles and techniques of optimization architectural and planning governmental or-ganizations and improve the expressiveness of hotels 4-5 stars in the historic building, proposed the development of the concept of a national association of the historic hotels and the introduction of the such type of the hotel in the classification commonly.
