T This work considers aspects of increase of energy-efficiency of architecture through optimization of insolation regime. Described methods allow calculation of time and thermal and biological influence of insolation in internal spaces. From graphic methods, the most attention is paid to the development of the method of solar maps and shadow masks. A method of analysis of local climatologic information in the complex solar map is proposed. Analytic methods deal with calculation of thermal and biological influence of insolation in internal spaces. Among the trends of solar-control control of time and period of insolation, area, intensity and spectrum of the insolating flow are considered. This is provided with the use of solar-protection devices of different types which can be calculated using the proposed methods of graphic and analytic calculation.
