Kulikova O. The traditions of Ukrainian baroque in the Taras Shevshenko's creative work.

The object of the thesis is the whole range of poetic, prosaic and dramatic works of Taras Shevchenko; the aim - to create the whole picture of place and role of Ukrainian literary baroque traditions in Taras Shevchenko's poetry, prose and drama works, methods - descriptive, comparative-typological, historic-functional and systemic, the newness - existing scientific information concerning the theme of the work has been generalized and systematized, and also a great number of uncovered or not covered enough for the present moment problems such as: traditions of Ukrainian spiritual lyric poetry in Shevchenko's creative work, the place and role of the Ukrainian baroque hagiography in it, the baroque symbolism, the connection of Shevchenko's poetry with baroque versification have been considered etc.; results - can be used for further researches of Taras Shevchenko's creative work and place and role of baroque traditions in the new Ukrainian literature, in the University coarse of Ukrainian literature history, for the corresponding special courses and seminars preparation, and also for Master and Graduate works writing; branch - philology.
