Essay

The thesis is devoted to academic freedom as an essential element of the constitutional-legal status of a person and citizen. Clarified the nature and content of academic freedom, improved terminology base on the study. The correlation of the concept of "academic freedom" with the related concepts, such as the "right to education", "university autonomy", "academic freedom." The current state of constitutional and legal regulation of academic freedom in Ukraine and other countries, given the general characteristics of academic freedom allowing for the status and training of various stakeholders of the academic activities.
