Essay

The scientific research is devoted to theoretically generalizes and clinical grounding of directions to improve the quality of life of patients with multiple sclerosis by analyzing the impact of disease on quality of life and their dynamics under the different types of treatment. Clinical features and neuropsychological disorders in multiple sclerosis patients were studied depend on the main clinical end demographic characteristics. On the basis of multivariate analysis were identified the main determinants predicting the deterioration of quality of life in multiple sclerosis patients. The analysis of quality of life in multiple sclerosis patients revealed a clear pattern of deterioration in quality of life assessments with disability and depression. The degree of disability and the severity of depression defined as the main determinants of quality of life in multiple sclerosis patients. Based on the obtained results of the analysis of changes of quality of life in patients with multiple sclerosis under the different types of treatment were proved high importance of quality of life assessment when solving for patients surveillance approach and improvement their quality of life.
