Konik B. Surgery treatment of patients with lung tuberculosis by correction the volume of hemithorax and shape of lung

The aim of the dissertation is increasing the effectiveness of surgery treatment of patients with lung tuberculosis by working out new methods of surgery: lung resection with correcting modified intrapleural thoracoplasty with creating a new dome of pleura and resection of upper right part or S1S2S3 from the left with creating a new upper part of the lung. It was analyzed the results of surgery treatment of 121 patients with lung tuberculosis within 5 years. It had been proved that the methodology of correcting modified intrapleural thoracoplasty allows to increase the effectiveness of surgery treatment of patients with lung tuberculosis by 16,6 %. It has been proved that the methodology of the resection of upper right part or S1S2S3 from the left with creating a new upper part of the lung allows to increase the effectiveness of surgery treatment of patients with destructive lung tuberculosis by 6,9 %.
