Kidalova M. Psychological peculiarities of emotional barriers in adolescence.

The work is devoted to the investigation of emotional barriers in adolescence. The basic approaches in determination of features, functions and reasons of psychological barriers have been analyzed in the research. The nature and types of emotional barriers have been defined and the definition to this independent psychological phenomenon in the context of transitional period of a personality has been given. The most typical emotional barriers of teenagers (loneliness, uncertainty, doubtfulness, weakness, helplessness, negativism, anxiety, aggressiveness, frustration, depressiveness, vagueness, indifference, inadequate emotional states caused by the affect of inadequacy, the complex of inferiority and frustrating intolerance) have been characterized.
