Dissertation is a research of main content characteristics of advertisement materials in the regional Crimean newspapers. Over 5000 advertisement materials published in the Crimean newspapers in the period between January 2009 and February 2011 were analyzed. Advertisement pieces were looked at with attention to the structure, factual material, genre variety and typological independence of publications. Advertisement activity in Crimea in the field of printed Mass-Media appears to be high. Crimean advertisers have real serious opportunities for the ad placement practically in all printed Media throughout the peninsula. Key reason of advertising activity of the Crimean newspapers is their aspiration for universal type of advertisement delivery. With the help of questionnaires, conducted within Crimean inhabitants engaged in the sphere of education a hypothesis has been verified concerning the attitude of Crimean people to newspaper ads. Cluster stratification of newspaper audience (readers) was performed depending on its (their) relation to the advertisement in analyzed printed Media.
