Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studying the role of the gene polymorphism of peroxisome proliferator-activating receptor-gamma (PPAR-gamma), levels of natriuretic peptides B- and C-types (BNP and SNP) and changes in intracardiac and systemic hemodynamics in postmenopausal age's women with hypertension (EH): uncomplicated and complicated by myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke (CS), residents of the Vinnitsa region, in order to improve diagnosis of genetic predisposition of women to EH and occurrence of their MI and CS. It is established that the inheritance of Ala allele of the gene PPAR-gamma is associated with the development of EH and MI on its background. However, if you have an existing illness, inheritance genotype Pro/Pro is associated with more severe abnormalities of structural and functional parameters of myocardium. Among women with EH who underwent MI and CS, plasma levels of SNP and endothelin-1 are higher in carriers of allele Ala.
