Essay

The dissertation deals with the problem of anticorrosive protection of refinery equipment by nitrogen- and oxygen-containing inhibitors. On the basis of technological suitability the nitrogen- and oxygen-containing compounds have been chosen. The advisability of their usage as the corrosion inhibitors has been proved under the conditions of oil primary processing. The degree of inhibitors protection has been determined under various conditions. The effect of inhibitors on the catalysts of the secondary refining processes has been established. The mechanism of anticorrosion protection by the developed inhibitors has been studied. The process flowsheet for the production of commercial corrosion inhibitors has been developed and implemented at Ukrainian refineries and gas plants.
