Zaiats O. Forming of external economic strategy by machine-building enterprises in the conditions of instability

The object of study is the formation of external economic strategy of an enterprise. The aim of study is to generalize and systematize the theoretical and methodological principles of formation the external economic strategy by domestic enterprises, to develop the recommendations concerning improving the processes of its formation in order to increase the efficiency of machine-building enterprises activity on the foreign markets. The methods of study and equipment are historical and logical; comparative and economic and statistical analysis, grouping methods, analysis and synthesis methods, systematic and comparative analysis, the simplex method, index, regressive analysis, extrapolation, modeling. The theoretical and practical results are methodological developments, practical proposals that form the basis for study and practical solutions concerning improving the formation of external economic strategy of machine-building enterprises. Novelty: Methodical approaches of complex evaluation concerning the effectiveness of the external economic strategy of an enterprise are improved; the procedure of determining the efficiency of foreign economic strategy formation is improved; the approaches to forming the external economic strategy of machine-building enterprise based on the modeling of international trade process are improved; the ideas concerning the connecting link formation of the main components in the enterprise external economic strategy have got further development; the theoretical generalization of enterprise growth strategy in the directions of concentrated and diversified growth has got the further development either; the grounds of the expediency of formation of external economic strategy of an enterprise with taking into account the goods life cycle and the internationalization level of the enterprise has got further development; the strategic map concerning the development of external economic activity of the machine-building enterprises of Ukraine has got further development; the proposals for the use of the index of state regulation in evaluating the effectiveness of the production potential has got further development. The degree of implementation: the developments and practical recommendations are implemented in the activity of JSC "Sumy Frunze Machine-Building Science and Production Association ", OJC "Trostyanets Machine-Building Factory" and in the educational process of Sumy National Agrarian University.
