The aim of the study is to determine the principles, methods and techniques of architectural planning symmetrization composition of the stages of harmonic transformations. The object of study is the composition of architectural and planning of urban space at different levels of its organization and development. The subject of research is symmetry as a factor and means, the principle and method improvement and harmonization of architectural composition of city planning. Methods of study include: historical and comparative analysis, methods of classification, systematization of scientific research, literary and informational sources, experimental simulation and design. Scientific novelty of the study is to determine: the leading role of symmetry at various stages and levels of development; trends symmetrization compositions planning structure of the stages of its natural growth and development; symmetrization principles of architectural composition of city planning at local, zonal and global spatial organization of its , directions and ways of implementing the methods and techniques of symmetrization in the theory and practice of urban planning and forecasting. The practical significance of the results of the research is to deepen the content and dissemination of the principles of symmetrization in shaping the architectural planning of the composition, methods of use and methods of urban symmetry at different stages of urban planning and forecasting.
