Essay

Dissertation is devoted to investigation of pathogenetic features of paracetamol hepatotoxicity on the background of nitrite intoxication and method of its pharmacological correction. It was found that an acute paracetamol poisoning after a 7-day administration of sodium nitrite is characterized by much more expressive intensity changes of microsomal oxidation, processes of energy supplement, greater intensity of lipid peroxidation, depletion of enzyme components and non enzyme parts of antioxidant system, disintegration of cellular and subcellular membranes, than isolated input of similar paracetamol dose. A positive effect of Thiotriazoline on metabolic processes that were affected by input of toxic doses of paracetamol in the background of previous intoxication caused by 7-day input of sodium nitrite was proved.
