Essay

The subject of inquiry is the dramatic works of L. Andreev discussed in the context of his prose and "new drama" turn of the XIX-XX centuries. The aim is to find out the specifics, degree of innovation and the typology of the L. Andreev's "new drama". The research methods are integral, motive, intertextual analysis. The results, novelty: for the first time were analysed comprehensively chronotop, the functions of the motives, intertext and mythopoetics, scribing the invariant model of the "new drama". The field of application: high school courses of History of Russian Literature of the end of XIX century - beginning of XX century, special courses and scientific seminars, during the preparation of scientific benefits.
