Polonka I. The normativity of law: general analysis.

The thesis consistently reveals the normativity of law as its defining quality that has stabilizing and progressive evolutionary influence on the development of public relations. A ratio of nor¬mativity with other qualities of law has been worked out. The concept of «normativity of law» has been proposed, its qualities, the nature and content have been defined, and the rule of law has been taken as the basis of its normativity. The position on the necessity of sectoral normativity of law to regulate social relations in various areas of law has been grounded. The interaction and complementarity of regulatory and non-legislative regulation at the present stage of development of the Ukrainian state has been revealed. The correlation between the normativity and casual law has been surveyed and proved that these categories can not exist without one another. The problem of raising the level of normativity in contemporary legal systems of the world has been elucidated.
