The thesis is devoted to the study of psychological peculiarities of the development of senior pupils' personal competence.The definition of personal competence is given and the theoretical analysis of such concepts as competence, competency and personal competence is made. A conceptual model of personal competence is proposed, singling out motivational, evaluative, cognitive, emotional and conative components and the competencies that fill these components.The experimental study of factors and psychological features affecting the development of senior pupils' personal competence is provided.
