Panchak L. Research of Russulaceae Family Mushroom Biologically Active Substances

Object - BAS of basidiomes of Russulaceae family mushrooms; the purpose - research of BAS of Russulaceae family mushrooms, mainly of lectins, their isolation and identification from perspective species, study of their characteristics and ascertainment of a possibility of use in medicine and medico-biologic research; methods - immunochemical, chemical, physicochemical, histochemical, microbiological and cytological; the novelty - for the first time system research of Russulaceae family mushrooms on availability of BAS, was carried out; the results - methods of isolation of new lectins from Russulaceae family mushrooms with consideration of their physicochemical properties were elaborated, the most perspective species - Lactarius pergamenus (Fr) Fr was chosen. Perspectivity of first isolated from the selected species BAS (lectin and 3,14,15-trimethylfuranolactarane-8-ol) for further medico-biological investigation was confirmed. Methods of standardization of mushroom raw material from L. pergamenus, the obtained substance with antimycotic and antiproliferative action on a basis of 3,14,15-trimethylfuranolactarane-8-ol and lectin were elaborated. Results of phytochemical research of L. pergamenus basidiomes were introduced into educational process and scientific work of a number of Higher Schools and in SPC "Lectinotest" manufacture (Lviv); branch - pharmacy.
