Rozhko V. Methods of Graphical Reconstruction of Log Cliffside Architecture (on Example of 9-13th Centuries Monuments in Western Ukrainian Region)

The author forms conceptual apparatus, defines informational basis components and theoretical principles of graphical reconstruction of log cliffside architecture. Proposed documentation metnods are laser scanning and photogrammetry combination. All research data should be transmitted to and stored as integrated 3D-model, database and geographic information system. The author developes methods for cliffside traces analysis, evaluation methods for restored elements trustworthiness, selection criteria between graphical reconstruction versions. The paper describes methods of log cliffside architecture graphical reconstruction which contains methods, principles and consecution of procedures. Proposed methods are implemented during research and documentation of Kamin' cliffs (Tustan fortress), 3D-modelling of five building periods on it. The author worked out recommendations of methods usage for different monuments restoration and preservation.
