It is stated in the work that the legal principles of their activity were laid down by Peter I in “Military statute” of year 1716 and “Naval statute” of year 1720, which remained in force with some definite changes and annex ions till XIX century. In 1706 auditiriat was created and its main task was to watch compliance with law in naval courts, consideration, confirmation and revision of important military court cases, adoption of sentences, control of naval courts rate of action.
