Essay

The object - political regimes of Middle Eastern countries. The aim – complex rethinking of peculiarities of authoritarianism and democracy features combination in Middle Eastern political regimes and changes of their combination in the political space transformation process after events of Arab Spring. Methods – the set of general and special methods of political science, neopatrimonial paradigm, etc. Theoretical and practical results – theoretical and applied aspects of authoritarianism and democracy features combination nature in the process of political regimes modernization in Middle East. Novelty – in the frameworks of eastern-centric discourse was realized complex research of multiply routs of Middle Eastern communities development; at the first is started and validated methodology of studying the constellations of authoritarianism and democracy features in the process of Middle Eastern political regimes transformation in the frameworks of eastern-centric discourse threw prism of their neopatrimonial nature; proposed: quantification applied-analytical models for determination the nature and quality characteristics of neopatrimonial character of those regimes, new classification of Middle Eastern states on basis of lingvocultural and structurally-institutional analyses. Practical application – in training of specialists in the sphere of social and political sciences, in writing scientific research papers, textbooks, tutorials and syllabuses of studying courses on issues of political philosophy, comparative politics, political oriental studies. Sphere of use – activities of: governmental bodies, social and political organizations; international relations.
