Dissertation for the scientific degree, of Candidate of Technical Sciences, by specialty 05.22.01 – transport systems. Dnepropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan of Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk, 2013. Dissertation is devoted to improvement of services technologies of wagon traffic at the border stations splicing railways with different track width (1435 mm and 1520 mm), based on the rational choice of cost and time parameters of the logistic chain of delivery of freights in the international traffic. It was conducted an analysis of existing services technologies of wagon traffic at the border stations splicing railways with different track width and determined its disadvantages, therefore it was developed the complex of models for improvement of work’s technologies of these stations, which directed on reduction of time and cost expenditure during implementation of the international freight transportation in the dissertation. Mathematical modeling of different technologies of transfer of wagon traffics from a track of 1435 mm on a track of 1520 mm and in the opposite direction with using a method of phases and vector optimization was executed. The analysis of time and cost expenditure on realization of operations on an overload of wagons, changing carts of freight wagons or changing distance between crests of wheels of sliding wheel couples on separate technological phases was made. The created complex of models allows to realize the automated logistic technologies of transfer of wagons in the environment of management information system of border station. Technical measures for effective use of SUW–2000 system for freight transportation are offered an economic feasibility of introduction of logistic technology in processes of service of wagon traffics at stations of splicing the railways with a different track width with definition of rational time of finding of wagons at border stations was proved.
