Essay

The comprehensive pharmacognostic study of the genus Hypericum representatives of Western Ukraine was done for the first time. The content of biologically active substances amount was derermined; 8 macro- and micronutrients were identified. The structure of 5 cinnamic and quinic acid derivatives, 4 flavonoids, 2 catechins, 2 chlorophylls and also some organic and amino acids was established from the Hypericum Alpine grass for the first time. The basic morpho-anatomical diagnostic features of the genus Hypericum grass were determined. Technological schemes of obtaining dry extract were developed; soft medical formulation with anti-inflammatory and wound healing activity was produced.; industry - pharmacy.
