Object of research: vanadium-containing ash and slag waste heat power plants in Ukraine. Aim: Increase of ecological safety ash disposal enterprises of industrial power by determining the spread of heavy metal compounds in soils on the borders of ash dumps, the development of new technology for utilization of vanadium-containing ash waste, the rationale for hardware design of the technology. Methods: scientific generalization and systematization, atomic adsorption spectroscopy, optical microscopy, X-ray analysis, pH-metry and chemical analysis, mathematical modeling and mathematical statistics. Theoretical and practical results: The expediency of the use of slag waste as industrial wastes subject to the creation of new processing technologies. Establishment of the laws of distribution of heavy metal concentrations in soils as a function of distance from the boundary of ash dump that allows the development of methods for their safe operation. A fundamentally new design of the jet device for the hydrolysis of vanadium compounds and optimized main technological parameters of the process. Dissertation materials adopted for use LLC "Plant self-propelled tractor chassis", LLC "Saco", and in the educational process of the Engineering Department and rescue equipment of the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine. The scientific novelty: Developed further develop ways of using slag heaps as a raw material for vanadium. First identified patterns of migration of heavy and rare metals from slag heaps of the soil in the areas of their deployment. Further developed the theoretical foundations of the behavior of vanadium ions in solutions and methods of intensifying their hydrolytic release. Was further development of the determination of the kinetics of the crystallization of vanadium compounds in solutions. The new technology and set up of process flow diagram of the process to ash and slag waste heat power plants, containing vanadium. Scope: implemented Application: to introduce in the practice of engineering, technical and environmental department of thermal power enterprises, enterprises of ferrous and colored metallurgy.
