Dubovik V. Municipal Forms and Mechanisms of Securing the Protection of Law in Ukraine: Theory and Practice Problems

The thesis analyzes the forms and mechanisms of municipal securing of law in the conditions of the development of the national model of local government. It analyzes the evolution of the institutions of municipal law securing, international standards for such protection, legislative and local legal support of securing municipal mechanisms, features of the programmatic regulation of these processes, the specific interaction of self-governments bodies with law enforcement and community agencies. Municipal securing of law is defined as the legitimate work of bodies and officials representing local communities and associations designed to eliminate violations of the rule of law and to establish the legal order in the territory, there defined also the differences of such activities from the law enforcement.
