Essay

The thesis analyzes the legal mechanisms of the participation of local self-government bodies in promoting the development of national maritime economy complex. There is proved importance of the development of marine economy for the coastal local communities, explored the historical and international standards for local authorities' participating in the coherent processes. There considered legislative framework, local legal mechanisms and models of municipal programmatic regulation of involvement of self-government structures into the processes of management and control for the development of marine economy.
