Essay

In this thesis new results for structural and parametric optimization problems of discrete and continuous control systems are obtained. We substantiate the Bellman's principle of optimality for a systems with fixed and floating control structure. Bellman equations for different formulations of the problem are constructed. Furthermore, we specify sufficient optimality conditions in the cases of fixed and floating control structure.
