Essay

Patients with CHF and PLVEF characterized by better clinical and functional status, shorter duration of symptoms of CHF, better quality of life according to the MLHFQ, better tolerance to physical than patients with SLVD. A comparison of the two groups was done on the basis of laboratory and instrumental indicators. Survival of patients with SLVD revealed worse for 12, 36 and 48 months of observation compared with patients with PLVEF. Predictors of worse prognosis for 12, 36 and 48 months in both groups were specified. The decrease in mortality on the background of prolonged use of ACE inhibitors and beta-blockers in both groups of patients was shown.
