The thesis is devoted to solving the urgent problem of pathophysiology - the establishment of the pathogenetic significance of disorders of the functional activity of central and peripheral components hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system, antibiotic resistance and lipid peroxidation in suppurative complications of traumatic disease and evaluation of medical correction of these complications by Cortexin. Experimental studies were performed on 384 white mongrel male rats. In this paper we clarified the mechanisms of functional activity disorders hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system links, immunologic resistance, determined the structure of bacteremia and the severity of stress in the development of suppurative complications of traumatic disease. The study of the effectiveness of Cortexin the development of inflammatory complications of injuries showed that the drug has a pronounced therapeutic effect. The drug reduces the hyperactivation of the central link hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system, improves adrenal corticosteroid biosynthesis and consumption of mitochondria of liver cells of these hormones. On phagocytosis and the content of immunoglobulins (classes A, M, G) Cortexin not affected, but changes the secretion and release of cytokines immunocompetent cells. It is established that the drug inhibits lipid peroxidation, activates antioxidant systems and has a detoxifying effect. The efficacy was expressed equally in shock non-fatal and non-shock types of post-traumatic reactions.
