Prodan M. Psychocorrection and psychophylaxis of professional desadaptation among nursing staff working with TBC patients

The peculiarities of the emotional state of the nursing staff working with TBC patients depending on whether they have professional desadaptation and its duration were identified; pathopersonology factors influencing the formation of the professional desadaptation in the given group were determined; satisfaction level of functioning in the various life spheres and the degree of their social frustration were identified; emotional component of the occupational maladjustment was studied and the role of the emotional intelligence in the development and prevention of the phenomenon studied was validated. The system of psychodiagnostic, psychocorrective and pshychophylactic measures of professional desadaptation was developed and implemented based on the obtained results. The system consists of a gradual combination of a series of psychocorrectional measures, which are at first aimed at the psychoemotional recovery, abolishment of the pathopersonology characteristics, frustration reduction in the various life spheres, elimination of emotional burnout indicators, and in the future become more psychophylactic by means of developing emotional intelligence, increasing stress resistance and forming adequate coping strategies based on the group, cognitive-behavioural, cognitive-oriented and client-centered psychocorrection, relaxation techniques, principles of guided affective imagery, emotional and imaginative therapy, and art therapy.
