In the dissertation were substantiated Constractive Geographical principles of optimizing regional landscape parks (RLP) functionality within Western Volyn- Podolia and were also proposed practical recommendations. Typification of regional landscape parks of Western Volyn-Podolia was conducted. Also for each type priority functions were defined. The structure of land cover of eight RLP was discovered, assessed lands condition and justified system of optimizing measures.
