Object - the process of training future teachers of Humanities in pedagogical higher education institutions; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested didactic model of using heuristic dialogue in the process of training future teachers of Humanities on the level of their professional-creative skills formation; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the research is the first to substantiate and experimentally test the didactic model of using heuristic dialogue for forming professional-creative skills in students of Humanities that consists of preparatory-motivating and reflective-diagnostic components. The essence of didactic heuristic dialogue has been specified as a means of joint activities on the basis of interpersonal parity-based intellectual communication of the subjects of learning in which the initiative is transferred from the teacher to the student at all stages of the teaching process. The diagnostic issues of the level of mastering professional-creative skills by future teachers have been carefully analysed; results - the worked out model of using heuristic dialogue for forming professional-creative skills in students of Humanities has been experimentally tested and will be valuable for the process of training future teachers; field - pedagogy
