The thesis is dedicated to solving a scientific problem that lies in improvement of efficiency of treatment of patients with different clinical course of psoriasis in the form of prolongation of remission duration, reduction of recurrences number and their distinctness by means of application of narrowband UVB phototherapy with wave length 311 nanometres. It was found out that patients with psoriasis have increase of activity of cells that produce cytokines of both pro- and anti-inflammatory direction that is indicative of immunovariable nature of pathological process development and reflects clinical course of psoriasis and is the most emphasized subject to availability of erythroderma, arthropathy and in progressive stage of dermatosis, and stated close correlative association between the content of cytokines and the content of autoantibodies to TPO and TG is indicative of concordance of immunological disorders. It was determined that Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis act as dominating components of skin microbial pattern of lesion focuses in patients with psoriasis that allows to examine them as trigger factors of pathological process. Optimized method of combined application of narrowband UVB phototherapy with wave length 311 nanometres and "Phorcal" ointment was substantiated, developed and introduced which efficiency is confirmed by restriction of pathological process development by means of elimination of clinical manifestations of disease, correction of cytokines activity, modulating influence on the content of autoantibodies to TPO and TG and condition of skin microbal pattern of lesion focuses.
