Shlapak M. Natural capital in the system of national accounts of Ukraine

Object - the process of using natural capital assets as a component of economic growth; goal - the development of theoretical and methodological approaches for inclusion of natural capital into national accounting and substantiation of recommendations for introduction of the system of environmental-economic accounting as a modern information instrument for environmental policy planning and realization; methods - formalization and logical generalization, analysis and synthesis, historical, correlation analysis, calculation and analytical, comparative analysis, graphical, expert evaluation; novelty - developed scientific and methodological approaches for inclusion of natural capital of Ukraine into national accounting by calculation of environmentally adjusted macroeconomic indicators and introduction of the system of environmental-economic accounting as a specific instrument of state environmental policy planning and control for achieving its main goals; results - the algorithm of calculation of environmentally adjusted gross domestic product for economy of Ukraine and classification of environmental-economic accounts groups with the definition of priority types for introduction into national accounting system; implemented into economic practice.
