Temchenko O. Social Function of the Ukrainian State Ensuring the Childrens' Rights

The thesis is the first domestic research on forming a new function of the Ukrainian state - social state function on protecting children's' rights. The thesis characterizes structure of the social function of the Ukrainian state on ensuring children's rights, outlines its area (childhood as a time of growing up) and object (children's rights), describes its agents and forms of realization. The function of children's rights ensuring is the responsibility for all branches of power: general (protect children's rights along with other powers) and special (Juvenile Services, Centres for Social Services for Families, Children and Youth, Representative of the President of Ukraine on children's rights) public services.
