In the dissertation there is developed and grounded methods of formation of healthsaving knowledge and habits of junior pupils at the initial stage of adaptation to the orphanage, which is based on the idea of personal development of pupils and includes motivational and evaluative, cognitive, operational and effective semantic components healthsaving competence. Experimental testing showed high efficiency of the methods of training, which is the reason for its broad introduction to the educational process of educational establishments.
