The paper deals with the study of organizing Algebra and Basis of Analysis teaching using a two-level text book for senior pupils in the conditions of personal oriented and competent methods of teaching. Methodology of teaching Algebra and Basis of Analysis using a two-level textbook was designed and experimentally tested, methodology being directed towards the achievement of mathematical state standard of Ukrainian secondary education in the course Mathematics: the aims are defined, the content is specified, the educational forms and methods are described, some qualitative problems/sums are complemented to the means of teaching, and also the means of teaching is offered.
