Essay

In the dissertation there is defined the place of modern conceptions of post-soviet transformations in the general theory of social changes. It is studied out the basics of T. I. Zaslavska' conception of societal transformation of Russian society, found the features of her study of the actors of the transformation process. There are considered the provisions of normative-personal conception of N. V. Panina and features of her sociological research of post-soviet transformation of Ukrainian society. There is estimated the changes of the social-psychological status of Ukrainian population during the period of independence. Conceptions of T. I. Zaslavska and N. V. Panina are mutually complementary the scientific ideas about post-soviet transformation and contemplate the ways to creation the fundamental theory.
