Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of pathogenetic mechanisms of genesis and development of occupational allergic dermatosis at workers of mechanical assembly production and pathogenetic grounding of treatmnet which based at combined application of pentoxyphyllin and lipoic acid. The disturbances of functional state of skin was established in persons suffered from allergic manifestations. Wistar rats have been kept at working places at mechanical factory during two – four weeks. Afterwards heightened susceptibility to chromium-induced allergic dermatitis, which was induced via skin application of chromium solutions (0,5 and 1,5%) have been revealed. Hence, decrease of рН, resistance of skin capillars, disturbances of pain threshold and temperature sensitivity, increase of period of adaptation and achievement of balance of temperature as well as electrical conductance of skin have been revealed. Rheological properties of blood have been also disturbed along with exhaustion of oxidative thiol-disulfide and ascorbate blood systems and increase of both proinflammatory cytokines and circulating immune complexes, which was in parallel with disbalance of lymphocyte system have been described. All listed disturbances were effectively corrected with porposed treatment, which included pentoxyphyllin (0,1- 0,2 g per infusion) and lipoic acid (0,01 - 0,02 g per day).
