The thesis is devoted to the pharmacognostic study of Reedgrass (Calamagrostis epigeios) and Tufted hairgrass (Deschampsia caespitosa). The technology of tinctures, projects of quality control methods were worked out on the basis of the conducted studies. Diuretic and anti-inflammatory activities of tincture of Reedgrass and Tufted hairgrass herbs were determined. The antimicrobial activity of the tincture Florazid was determined on the basis of its microbiological study.
