Analyzed the psychological and pedagogical literature on the issue, the criteria to assess the readiness of the conscious choice of profession, examined the formation of readiness of students for career choices as the process of providing state of the mobilization of an integrated system of personality traits to exercise her professional self. Disclosed aspect - the formation of readiness of students to career choices, offers criteria of formation of the factors influencing this process. Defined levels of formation of readiness, identified motives students to choose a profession, carried their classification.
